This is a preview or proof of concept of Windmill. Do be gentle ;)

Windmill allows you to quote from your favorite books and share your quotes with others if you wish.

It is in part powered by Amazon Web Services. which it uses for bibliography information. like ISBN lookups and book thumbnails. Ive found it works best with non fiction titles from the US database.

The rest of the technology is PHP5 and Mysql. with flawless hosting from Dreamhost. I am using the CURL Libraries and SimpleXML

My sources, conceptual and technical are credited in their entirety at del.icio.us/organised/library_project

Students at Huddersfield University have Student ID's in the form of '0051909014' if you sign up make sure you choose a random number like that. This is printed on their library cards and is unique, therefore ideal for such usage.

Technology Support Thanks
